Summary: (Fully original, written by me~)

As you all may of know, Shonen Sunday and Shonen Magazine has been serialising mangas since March 17th, 1959, since both of them started publishing on the same day, they had a big rivalary, bringing out the best they could for good quality mangas, also with Shueisha’s newcomer Shonen Jump entering the big stage on July 2, 1968, Sunday and Magazine’s got big competition. Since then for the past year around May 2008, both magazines (Sunday and Magazine) are about to reach another milestone since its about to reach 50 years of publication!!

So to celebrate the Pretigious 50th Anniversary around Q1 2008 the two rivals joined forces and made many crossovers across their serialised mangas. Including manga crossovers specials, limited edition T-Shirts, trading card games, even new magazines publication (ie. Monthly Shonen Sunday) and events in conventions.

Throughout 2008 was just the beginning, but since its now 2009, the anniversary is near (March 17th to be exact), so as the old saying goes “save the best for last” it seems they really have done it, yes, they’re going to release a game! A crossover fighting game! (similar to what Mortal Combet and DC Comics did). So let the celebration begin!

Promotional Video:

But unfortunately though this game will be unlikely to reach the western market due to heavy licensing issues and even if they did, it’ll likely to be screwed up and tons of heavy censoring, pretty much like what 4kids has done..
