Spring Anime 2010 REDUX!!

With Winter Anime 2009/10 coming to a close, a week until April starts and- my mid terms, just under a week… it’s only natural that Spring will arrive along with its seasonal anime line up. So with a second version of the lineup visual poster by Chartfag done and complete, a post talking about my views would be inevitable, so… here it is.

The second revision of Spring Anime 2010 lineup is out produced yet again by the awesome Chartfag, with slight alterations and confirmed dates added. Note that this will be pretty much be the final edition of the Spring 2010 lineup poster as pretty much everything is covered (can be viewed above).

Comparing this version to the first, it appears that the Marvel anime Iron Man has been withdrawn from the line up, as it appears to had been moved to another season due to some mix up. Other alterations is that Romance of the Three Kingdoms and Rainbow is added, new OVA and continuations added too and airing dates for most shows confirmed.

Now, my finalised “to watch” list;

Red cross with border = Rejected / Green tick = Approved, however additional / Green tick with border = APPROVED

Definitely Watching:

Heroman – An anime where Americal and Japanese culture are combined, this one sounds interesting…

B Gata H Kei – LOLWHORE

Angel Beats – It’s a KEY anime why would I turn it down?

Working! – Bill said it’s awesome after watching the pre-release, so I’ll give it a go too.

Mayoi Neko Overun! – Read the first two manga chapters inb4 the anime. Even though it’ll be the obscene fanservice slice of life type of show, I’ll watch it for the lolz.

K-ON!! – Couldn’t resist the moe-blobs :<

Kiss x Sis – Watching to see how TV broadcasters will handle censoring this show…haha

Planning to watch, but in small clusters:

Yutori-chan – I liked the promo art xD

Hetalia – To kill some time…

Ketsuinu –  Toei anime plus dogs. Crossing the line of furry then drop’d.

Kaichou was Maid-sama! – Caught the gist how everyone seems to be looking forward to it, so I’ll give it a shot.

Ichiban Ushiro no Dai Maou – Need to watch some Mahou animes. Period.

Giant Killing – Awesome anime title.

Hakuouki: Shinsengumi Kitan – DEEN anime, nyahaha.

Arakawa Under the Bridge – SHAFT anime. Should be watched by default.

Senko no Night Raid – Second installment of “The Power of Anime” project TV Tokyo and Aniplex are doing (taking over Sora no Woto). Looking forward to this anime original.

RAINBOW – Finally some serious and uplifting anime that doesn’t rely on fanservice and moe. No wai-

Uragiri wa Boku no Namae wo Shitta Iru – Long-ass name and done by JC Staff, cool.

House of Five Leaves – It reminded me of Katanagatari, apparently airing onve per month…

Yojo-han Shinwa Taiker – Looks good, I’ll have a go at it.

OVAs

Haiyoru Nyaru-Ani – I fancy the image

Umo Monogatari Special – Want to see the fukking epilogue NAO

GA: Geijitsuka Art Design Class – lol

Hetalia Special – No shota yaoi, please.

BLACK ROCK SHOOTER – IF YOU DO NOT WATCH THIS MASTERPIECE THEN I WILL COME DOWN TO YOUR BASEMENT PERSONALLY AND WHACK SOME SENSES INTO YOU.

20 out of 34 TV Anime shows

5 out of 18 OVAs

Subtotal of 25 pick’d up series to watch for me.

Can’t wait.

  1. Kaichou wa Maid-sama is a definite yes. It’s currently my top pick amongst the rom-comedy mangas I’m reading.

unpatiently waiting for BRS. angel beats and k-on!

Arakawa under the Bridge – there’s something about the PV that captured my eye. Looks deep and somewhat promising.

    1. Arakawa caught my eye when I scanning through the first poster when I saw that dude with the star head, which instantly reminded me of that star in Nagi’s manga in Hayate no Gotoku. Also it’s a Shaft anime, so I approve.

BRS doesn’t need a reason to watch.
