That feel when I am 20 years old, but let’s not have that get in way when there’s a lot of anime this summer season to make fun of!

See title of post.

Classroom Crisis

What would happen if Kyousuke in Oreimo decided that harbouring romantic and sexual feelings for his little sister and her under-aged friends was a little incestuous, creepy and pedophillic and thought ‘fuck it’ and lived out the rest of his life in deep outer space? Well he would suffocate probably but onto the main topic – Classroom Crisis is one of those anime that you have no idea if it’ll turn out good or garbage because it’s an original series and the first few episodes leaves you in a confused state wondering what the fuck did you just watched. Proceed into Classroom Crisis with caution.

Shimoneta to Iu Gainen ga Something Something Something na Sekai

Watching Shimoneta has re-invigorated the 12 year old inside me when saying inappropriate words and watching porn was comedic gold. Shimoneta is yet another anime you have to turn off your moral senses for a while in-order to understand the brilliance of this show. Definitely a must-watch if you want a good laugh. Avoid at all costs if you’re a person who doesn’t love fun.

I think he didn’t read the script.

Darker Than Black meets Angel Beats in this Key original anime by Glasslip apologist studio PA Works! If you’ve seen Angel Beats or any Key anime adaptation you’ll feel right at home with Charlotte. Expect the many over-the-top deadpan humour and spontaneous sob stories Jun Maeda is known for. Four episodes in and it’s already this good! Also there’s a baseball episode.

Sore ga Seiyuu

At first I was like

But then I was like

I have a love/hate relationship with Sore ga Seiyuu. On one hand I’m glad that Hayate creator Kenjirou Hata managed to get his doujin work to be adapted into a anime, but on the other with in mind that not only he has a doujinshi side project but also working on a new manga project, means he gives less of a shit about his current work that just had its 10th anniversary. Also Sore ga Seiyuu is set in the same world as Hayate. Who would’ve thought. Fans of Shirobako will feel right at home with Sore ga Seiyuu with its deep insight into the voice acting side of the anime industry. From A-list seiyuus guest appearances in every episode to golden reactions faces ready to be posted in your favourite discussion outlet, Sore ga Seiyuu is a spiffy anime!

Joukamachi no Dandelion

Quite a generic anime about a royal election but I’m only watching this because it’s from the Ore no Twintails artist and also Aka~ne-chan (✿ ♥‿♥)

Jitsu wa Watashi wa

A typical high school trashy-like anime with aliens and vampires and espers, but surprisingly I’ve enjoyed the three episodes I’ve seen so far! Terrible anime title in my opinion.

What if the Japanese Self Defense Force was full of weebs and was in charge of scriptwriting the plot for an anime with the intention to promote more weebs to stop being good-for-nothing shut-ins and give their lives for the glory and name of the Japanese motherland in-order to redeem their purpose of living? GATE is a peculiar anime and one that blends the fantasy world of mythical creatures and being with the real world of people on their tablets and cellphones and weebs going apeshit over sculpted PVC. A good watch so far.

Bikini Warriors

It’s almost as if the staff of this show listened to all of the feedback and complaints from feminists and social keyboard warriors alike who decry the treatment of women in the video games industry and made an entire anime series just for them! Though honestly, Bikini Warriors is one of those shows that you’ll have to turn your brain off for four minutes to have fun. And be glad only it’s four minutes because that is how long each episode is.

Himouto! Umaru-chan

Is this what happiness looks like

Is this what happiness looks like

Umaru-chan is a anime that drains your motivation and purpose in life with no mercy and from then on forces you into suffering endless episodes of existential crisis. Nah jokes I kid I kid Umaru is a funny anime!

Holy shit I can’t believe it’s been nearly four years since the last Working anime! Sword Art Online has soiled me because I now can’t unsee Boy Version Yamada as a dumbfuck Kirito.

Idolmaster Cinderella Girls (Season 2)

I enjoyed Miria-chan in the first season so I am coming back for more Miria-chan in this second season continuation.

Kuusen Madoushi Kouhosei no Kyoukan

Enjoy watching your FAVOURITE ANIME? Then this is the anime made just for you because it’s shit :^)

Monster Musume no Iru Nichijou

It’s like To Love-ru, but every girl is a monster! I’m only watching this so that I can ridicule my monsterphillic friend at uni.

With a slow plot progression two episodes in as well as me being a anime-secondary-scum not having played the games to make a well-informed impression I can say that God Eater has been meh so far. God Eater made me realise it was Alisa I had as my phone wallpaper a few years ago.

Okusama ga Seitokaichou!

I find this anime very pleasant to masturbate to.

Thanks Obama.

Prison School

Prison School is like Marmite – you either love it, or hate it, or have your anus wrecked.

Ranpo Kitan – Game of Laplace

I’m only watching this because of the cute boy girl protagonist. The crime cases in the show are pretty cool.

Rokka no Yuusha

This is sparta! XD1

This is sparta! XD1

Accidentally watched this because I misclicked the download link. Great first episode but the MC’s cockiness gets on my nerves. Not on my top priorities but would recommend a watch because there’s a bunny girl.

Non Non Biyori Repeat

This kills the Renge

Please refer to Gakkou Gurashi

Determination to Fist GX

When you think destroying the moon wasn’t enough. While I’m happy Symphogear is back for a third season I’m worried if the writing is soon heading into creative bankruptcy. But hey at least we’ll get to see more of Chris-chan!

It’s a anime short about this guy living the dream with this milf of a sister and a tsundere of a sister and these two loli of sisters. I’m only watching this because it’s three minutes a pop and expecting a dark twist to occur in the coming episodes.

Wakaba Girl

Basic Bitches the anime. Nothing more than cute girls with a dumb ojou-sama doing cute and dumb things. Give it a chance I guess since it’s only eight minutes an episode.

Gakkou Gurashi!

And I thought Non Non Biyori would be the definitive heal of the season. Gakkou Gurashi blows Renge out of the water with its impeccable cute dialogue, its healing slice of life story about this cute group of girls and a cute teacher, doing cute things in a cute high school and adorable character designs. No idea why they don’t go home and stay at school all the time and occasionally get covered in tomato juices but that doesn’t matter, they’re probably nerds anyway XD. Just watching Gakkou Gurashi just relieves you from all the negativity of life (especially the possibility of a zombie outbreak to bring about the apocalypse!) and makes you think of all the good things and believe in a positive future! Definitely recommend to give Gakkou Gurashi a watch.
